As senior producer and project manager on the American Association for the Advancement of Science’s “Science: The Wide Angle” series, I chose the documentary film crew, recruited interview subjects, crafted questions, chose material to be included from the interviews, kept the project on track in terms of schedule, vision, voice, and audience. In other words, I made it happen and made sure it got done right.
